The Spirit wheelchair is fitted with dual controls, one joystick at the front with a round knob for the use of the wheelchair user and one joystick at the rear with a dished knob to use with the thumb for the attendant to use. Only one control can be used at a time. They are switched from front to rear control or rear to front control by use of the on/off switch (see the close-up screen shots by clicking on the following links).
